# Website launch checklist

## Devices (test all of them)
Small iPhone (SE), standard iPhone, large iPhone (Pro Max), Android phones (Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, a cheap older model), a tablet and a desktop browser. Test both languages if the site is bilingual.

## On every page
- [ ] No sideways scrolling on any phone width.
- [ ] Menu opens and every link works; there is always a way back to the home page.
- [ ] Images load, faces are not cropped, videos have a poster image.
- [ ] Text is in the right language on the right version.
- [ ] Nothing jumps while the page loads or while the browser bar hides and shows.

## Site basics
- [ ] `robots.txt`, `sitemap.xml`, favicon and a real 404 page.
- [ ] Page titles and descriptions for sharing.
- [ ] Old URLs redirect instead of breaking.

## Forms
- [ ] Submit a real test on the live site. Make sure the message arrives where you expect.
- [ ] A failure message tells people another way to reach you.

## After launch
Open the live site on a real phone, not only the preview, and click through every page once more.
